Make The Holidays Sparkle With A Mooshka Goodnight Starlight Doll

Mooska final 1

Growing up I remember very well, one of my favorite dolls, PJ Sparkles. She was pretty sweet for a doll back in the 80's. All of the commercials showed a sweet little girl pressing PJ's tummy, watching her light up, and then drifting off to sleep. There will always be a special place in my heart for my PJ Sparkles, but in reality, she was not very fun to sleep with. She was made of a pretty hefty plastic, which made the snuggling part pretty difficult, and i'm quite sure she poked me in the eye on more than one occasion. Still, I loved that little doll . I loved the warm glow of the lights in the darkness and just the comfort I felt from her shining next to me at night. Now that I have my own daughter, who thanks to a new brother being welcomed in the family, recently graduated to her very own room. She loves it! But bedtimes can still be a little unnerving for her and she still makes the nightly request for her door to be open and the hall light to be on. I wanted to find a doll for her that would bring her the same comfort PJ Sparkles brought to me, but maybe this time, something a little more snuggle. And of course, my search led me right to Mooshka!

One day a group of paper doll friends joined hands and through the power of friendship they sprung into sweet, huggable girls called Mooshka! Goodnight Starlight™ dolls light up and sing "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" when you hold her hands. Put her hands together and she sings and lights up. And her box becomes a bed! Jessa™ loves going to sleep. Nighttime is her favorite time to close her eyes and drift off to dreamland. Her birthday is December 19 - Taken from product description.

Take A Closer Look At What's Included:
  • Goodnight Starlight doll lights up and sings when you hold her hands or put her hands together
  • 13" soft, huggable doll
  • Her box becomes a bed
  • Batteries included (3 x AAA)
  • Collect both characters - Taken from product description
The Mooshka Goodnight Starlight doll comes with two doll options, Jessa & Dasha. Jessa has dark features, purple accessories and nightgown while Dasha favors lighter features and pink accessories and nightgown. I had the privilege of taking a closer look at Jessa, and goodness, what an adorable doll she is! My daughter herself has darker features and loves purple, which makes Jessa all the more special. From head to toe, Jessa is soft and cuddly. There's no chance of eye poking with this doll! Just the greater chance that my daughter will soon be looking forward to bedtime as much as her Mooshka Goodnight Starlight doll does. When morning comes, the Mooshka Goodnight Starlight doll can even be placed in her own bed, made from the box she comes in! As a parent, I greatly appreciate that Mooshka Goodnight Starlight comes pre-loaded with batteries. Probably 90% of toys today not only require batteries, but you have to go out and purchase them before your child can enjoy their new toy. With Jessa, as soon as she is removed from the box, she is ready to be loved, and ready to shine and sing!
  Mooshka Final 3

Check out those adorable slippers! Not only is Jessa perfectly sweet, but her clothing and sewn on accessories add to her whole peaceful demeanor. Her clothing is just as soft as she is. The dainty pattern of her nightgown makes her one of the most inviting dolls I have ever encountered. Her hands come together easily and as soon as they touch, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star i sung and the soft lights of Jessa flash and glow. Both are very soothing and simply add another dimension to why this doll is one of the best! I'm so grateful for my years of PJ Sparkles, but I'm even more happy that my daughter will not only get to have that same comforting bedtime experience with her own sparkling doll, but that she will get to enjoy that experience contently snuggling her very soft, huggable, lovable Jessa, the Mooshka Goodnight Starlight Doll
